CONSULTATION
Once we’ve connected, we will schedule a consultation. This will either take place virtually or in-person depending on the project and location. At this stage we may involve our interior design team to get their input while we brainstorm options for your project.

DESIGN + PROJECT PLAN
The preparation (and most important) stage can now begin! A solid design and project plan is integral for the success of any renovation, no matter the size. This is the time to work through any potential indecisions, nail down finishes so that accurate budgeting can be updated, assess manufacturing timelines to set realistic deadlines and build a schedule to ensure all parties involved are booked and confirmed. This is your time to ask questions and be candid about your expectations so that we can understand what you want and plan accordingly.

QUOTE PREPARATION + REVIEW
Once we’ve chatted about your project and hopeful plans, we will come up with a sample budget and quote for you. We do our best to quote according to what we KNOW but there is always the possibility that things will arise along the way that may require the budget to change. We do our best to plan for this and prepare you with an estimated contingency but we can never fully predict this. After we have sent you the quote and give you time to look it over, we set up a meeting to review the quote in detail together. This allows us to answer any questions and provide you any additional details you may need.

PERMIT APPLICATION
Depending on what your project entails, we may require permits in order to complete the work. Don’t be afraid of permits… they tend to get a “bad rep” because people don’t understand enough about them. Getting permits and doing inspections throughout the project ensures that all work is being completed according to Building Code and that we are fixing any old issues that are discovered along the way. We take care of everything when it comes to the permit application process. Working with registered BCIN drafters and engineers we put your new plans together and submit as an application. Once approved, work can begin!

RENOVATION BEGINS
Once design and project plans are confirmed and permits (if applicable) are secured, work can begin! This is when we are able to showcase our craftmanship and skill to bring your project to life. We work with you to schedule our visits to ensure minimal disruption to your life, which may include recommendations to fully move-out depending on the amount of disruption. You are provided updates as work is completed and looped into any un-planned discoveries or challenges. Just sit back and watch us work our magic!

FINAL TOUCHES + STYLING
As the project wraps up, we will do a full walk-through together to point out any final details that need attention and ensure that all i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. Depending on the level of interior design involvement you had in your project, this is when our design team will come in a complete all styling so that the full vision can come to life!
